Step 1: Rinse the pistachio shells, and dry them off.

Step 2: Cut out a half oval shape from your cereal box (about 3 in. wide and 2 in. tall).

Step 3: Punch a whole as close to the edge of the card board as you can (without ripping it. REMEMBER you still have to add the clasps) on both ends.

Step 4: Take 2 of your clasps and stick them through the wholes you punched in step 3. Before you close the clasp, put the chain on the two clasps ( You can find chain a Michaels. Usually you can take it apart with tweezers or you can cut it with snips.).
Step 5: Then add the other two clasps on the end of each chain. Add the clasp hook to one of the clasps on the chain.

Step 6: Start painting your pistachio shells. For my first row of shells I painted 12 shells, second row 9 shells, third row 7 shells, fourth row 4 shells, and fifth row 1shell. You might want to paint an extra shell of each color just incase.
Step 7: Repeat step 6 with all of your colors. You might want to do a few layers of paint on all of your colors to really make them POP!
Step 7: Repeat step 6 with all of your colors. You might want to do a few layers of paint on all of your colors to really make them POP!
Step 8: Its time to start hot gluing! Take the glue gun and fill the whole pistachio with hot glue. two of the shells are going to have to go over the clasps. Then you are going to line the rest of the shells about half way off the edge of the card board. At first the pistachio shell wont stick, but if you just leave the shell in place for about a minute or two it will be fine. Repeat this step for the first whole row.
Step 9: For the second row you will be doing the same thing as step 8 except you will be overlapping the pistachio shells. Repeat step 9 for the last four rows.
